Champion athletes aren’t just born - they’re selected, trained, molded and tested. We hone raw talent to ultra-competitive basketball players with quality coaching, primal workouts and a true love of the sport. Teamwork, loyalty, perseverance - those are the three things that make up San Jose Lightning.

 

Our coaching staff has had many years of success at the AAU, NJB All-Net, NJB All-Star, and NJB division levels. Majority of our players have gone on to compete on their school teams, including local high schools such as Bellarmine, St Francis, Archbishop Mitty, Lynbrook, Monta Vista, Cupertino, Fremont, Harker.

 

We are not the typical AAU club.

Our teams are comprised of select players & families who are truly committed to the sport. We do this for the love of the game and not as a business like many other clubs.

As a result, we do not take in players to simply fill our roster. We only take players who fit well into our team. Since this is not a business, our costs are also much less than others. Commitment is of utmost importance to us!
